Fall Season Information
Purpose of the Fall Season
The Fall season is approached with an instructional focus in mind. All coaches at all levels are encouraged to help EVERY player develop his or her skills and to give each player the opportunity to try as many positions as possible. Our Fall Local Rules serve to support this goal. In short, the Fall season is a less competitive environment in which every player continues to learn and develop new skills and has lots while doing so!
Fall Rules
Fall Local Rules vary by league, but in general, we keep the emphasis on training and development by limiting the number of innings players can stay at the same position and using a continuous batting order. No scores are posted and no standings maintained in the Fall. For specific rules for each division, please visit our
Local Rules
page.
Instructional Clinics
Free clinics are offered throughout the Fall season to provide advanced instruction to all interested players (typically, clinics are appropriate for ages 6-12). We have recently partnered with XPE Sports to offer speed and agility training sessions conducted by professional instructors at our park. All of this is provided at no cost to registered players and is a fantastic opportunity!
Fall Scheduling
Fall registration typically begins in July, with skills evaluations in mid-August and practices and games beginning in late August/early September. The season concludes by late October. More details can be found on the
registration
page.
The Fall schedule is less intense than Spring, and many families find that they can participate in Fall baseball along with other Fall sports. All divisions above T-Ball/Farm typically have two games (one weekday, one Saturday) and one or two practices per week. We also try not to schedule any “late games” (games commencing after 7:00 p.m.) during the Fall.
Standings & Post-Season Play
No standings are maintained and there are no post-season tournaments during the Fall season.
