Important message regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) PLEASE READ!!

Hello East Marietta Family,

We view everyone who plays at East Marietta National Little League as if they were part of our own family. Player safety is always the top priority for the League in every decision we make.

Kincaid Elementary School falls within EMNLL boundaries and we currently have several players from this school in our league. In the wake of the announcement that students at Kincaid Elementary potentially have been exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19, it is with an over abundance of caution and concern that East Marietta National Little League will temporarily suspend activities.

The League has been monitoring the situation for weeks and reached this decision based on information from national, state and local health officials.

We are optimistic that we can resume league activities shortly, but we will re-evaluate, continue to monitor and be in communication with our membership. As of today, picture day will be postponed until all players can be at the park.

Youth baseball is designed to bring joy and excitement to the girls and boys who play. The decision to suspend operations, even temporarily, was reached only after much discussion and reflection.

But as we find ourselves in these unprecedented times, I am encouraged by knowing that, when it is safe to do so, we will be back at Sewell Park listening to the crack of the bat and the roar of the crowd.
