Spring 2025 Season Information
East Marietta Little League offers baseball leagues for children age 4 to 16.
Registration Fee:
- Tee Ball $100
- Farm Ball $150
- Rookie Ball $200
- Minor League $250
- Major League $250
- Junior League $300
- Senior League $300
Discounts / Additional Fees:
- Sibling Discount of $10.00 per sibling applies after first player is registered.
- Late Fee of $15.00 will be applied for anyone registering after February 1, 2025 (Rookie Ball and higher divisions only).
Payment Options:
- Payment in full via debit/credit card (Visa or MasterCard only).
- Payment Plan - 3 equal payments over the registration period via debit/credit card (Pay Before Season).
- Request for scholarship - contact the league if you are interested in this option.
Equipment: Included in the registration fee is a jersey and hat for each child. Your child will need a glove, helmet with a cage, cleats, and bat.
Bat Rules: Little League has adopted the USA bat standard beginning January 1, 2018. All bats must have the USA Baseball logo or be wood. Any bat used in a game must have an easily identifiable USA stamp/logo certifying the bat as an approved bat. Schedules:
Preseason - Practices will start on February 8, 2025. Preseason practice schedules will be posted soon after team assignments.
Regular Season - Games will start on March 8, 2025. Regular Season game and practice schedules will be posted near the end of February.
Postseason Tournament - For Farm Ball and higher divisions, the last two weeks of the season are reserved for division tournaments. Tournament schedules will be posted at the end of the Regular Season to reflect team standings.
Games canceled due to field conditions/weather may be rescheduled for another day of the week.
We observe Cobb County School District winter break and spring break. Games will not be scheduled during this time, but coaches may schedule practices.
Tee Ball & Farm Ball: Each team will have 2 team events per week. One weeknight practice and one practice/game on Saturday. Games will start on March 8, 2025.
All Other Divisions: Each team will have 3 team events per week. Your coach may or may not schedule additional practices.
Preseason - practices will be held on two weeknights and on Saturday.
Regular Season and Postseason - Each team will have one weeknight practice and two games per week. Games will be on a weeknight (typically Tuesday or Thursday) and on Saturday. The practice night may be different from the Preseason practice night due to the game schedule.
Skills Assessment: We will hold Evaluations for all ages except Tee Ball on February 1, 2025. A Sign Up Genius will be distributed one week prior to Evaluation Day. Times are selected first come, first served on the Sign Up Genius.
Playing up: If you are interested in your child playing up an age group, you must submit a written request to the Player Agent at [email protected] prior to Skills Assessment. Determination is based on skill level during this evaluation.
Concession Stand: The concession stand opens for games played on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The concession stand may open if makeup or tournament games are played on another day of the week.
Awards: Teams may choose to purchase their own trophies/medals/rings for players. The first and second place tournament winners (Farm - Majors) will be awarded rings.
Weather Conditions: The website will automatically generate an email any time a practice/game is canceled due to field conditions/weather. If the field is closed, do not use any part of the field, infield or outfield. Field Status information is on the website.
